27 days

There are 27 days till I add "Correa" to the end of my name, but who's counting! With this new name, God has prepared and called me to this time of my life. It has been more of an evolution of change, "becoming." For me, it isn't about the moment, the day, the event of the wedding. In most things, we evolve and become free from slavery (whatever that is for you), rich in Christ,...and in some cases, we begin to adopt the thinking and cooperative heart necessary for marriage. You could call it maturity or you could call it surrender. Since adopting the Rocky Mountains as my home, I have seen my theology change, my ideas about justice deepen and I have even seen my boundaries with others and confidence grow stronger. Trust me! God would not just throw it on us in one shining moment, in one catastrophe or in one trip to India (though that has a big impact). In all things we walk from Egypt to the Promise Land, maybe in 3 months, maybe in 40 years. In all things, we become.
