All plans were to be set in motion by 4pm yesterday, a bit early for my taste, but maybe not early enough. Sound guy was late, drummer was later with understandable family issues and the audience was early. At 6:30, 30 minutes before the concert, the sound was nowhere ready and the drummer was still tuning his toms. With a calm faith in God and an understanding of musical minds, I just "went with it."
At 7:10 we started and at 8pm, we were finished. I have no idea how the concert went because I was calculating words, juggling verses and choruses and solos in my mind and hoping my notes were in pitch. When we all gathered to have coffee and cookies, everyone seemed to be amazed and excited, truly pleased with the evening experience. I am glad and if any thing good happened, all glory should go to God. Talk about feeling like a conduit....
All this to say, this post of my concert "Kingdom View" is still under a "numb conscience." A better view to come soon.

I think I missed out on something GLORIOUS last night. And I can't believe that I didn't have the time and date firmly fixed in my mind and calendar or I would have most certainly enjoyed coming. I do hope you have a recording!! And I wish I could have been there!
Honest words are lovely without the polishing. Your story is alway good as told.
