Clinging to your past

Why is it we think that God would give Job all that he had lost exactly as it was before he lost it? The same children and lifestyle were not a part of God's plan for Job. Instead God chose different and new blessings for him. Is the idea of different and new scary as we travel through uncharted waters? Can we not find a little piece of mind in the thought that God really does know what is best for us?

As you spend time sorting out your current position in life, job conflict, change, relationship turmoil or the like, try to incorporate the healing sufficiancy of God into your problem. On one hand, He knows how many hairs are colored and/or missing on your head. He also knows how to create peace in the storm of war and injustice. He truely does have the 'Whole World in His Hands." He also has you! If different and new blessings are to be a part of your transformed life, let them be.
