Kingdom View - Ears wide Open

I felt like a cat in an unfamiliar place today as I paced the 5 x 8 studio with low ceilings. I was doing crazy things to prepare my heart, mind, voice and ego for the listening of my concert Master CD. The studio was in a house on Cache La Poudre and East Egypt and held the linger of cozy comfort and cigarette smoke. Steve, the engineer was welcoming and excited to share his work with me. We listened to portions of all ten songs and when we finished, I felt like a little girl who was just given the most beautiful pony she could ever imagine. I was delighted.... elated.... relieved.... impressed.... passionate.... and amazed at the gifts I have been given by God. The men who played with me on this CD are true professionals. They love what they do, the wives they are married to and an opportunity to play in a trio together. Thanks to them, I sound pretty good. All day I felt like a woman in love. In love with the beauty God created through tragedy, heartache, self-discovery, faith and trust .... me!
