It is Easter Morning and I am finding a bit of rest between the two morning services. The 8:30 Praise Service was great with chamber music and an adult baptism. The 11:00 Traditional Service will also be great I am sure with the choir in their new navy robes and Handel's Hallelujah Chorus. What I am looking for right now is the quiet of my little corner office and cup of coffee. I have "fellowshipped" with everyone over sweets and now I am secretly tucked away in my niche.It is almost like Jesus will walk in my choir room door looking for rest too...which will be great because I have a red suede papasan chair waiting for Him if He needs. I have left over coffee and a half cup of McDonald's OJ. He can have his pick.
Today is about "release" and rest. It is about taking off the pantie hose and tight pants and letting it all hang out. It is about family, but not in a controlling way. It is about being forgiven and being comfortable with that amazing choice.
