Yesterday, I had what I thought was a huge insight about men, faith and my career... all roll up into one big epiphany. Tonight, I couldn't wait to share it with my best friend, Knitting Grace. Knitting is an amazing woman and she listens like no other person I know, so when I finished sharing my insight, I was expecting a bit of compassionate commentary. Instead, Knitting showed me my heart and spoke with the words of Jesus. She looked through my epiphany and revealed a God given gift; the ability to see truth in people. She did not push aside or devaluing my experience, she lifted me up as a sister in Christ.
Knitting Grace values God's presence in me and shows me my heart.
For this reason, she is my best friend.
